Volcanos 2.0

Volcanos, Round 2, was every bit as much fun as the first time. 

Donovan and Jac knew we were going to make “volcanos”

but they had no idea what that meant 

or what was going to happen.  

Their excitement at the first ‘explosion’ was hilarious. 

These two both hate to get their hands dirty -

and Donovan flat refused to touch the cups today, at first -

but by the time we were done, 

both of them were wrist-deep in food-coloring “lava”,

doing their very best mad scientist impressions. 

So much fun.

And all that dye will wash off some day, right? 

And if it doesn’t, who cares*!?! We were making memories. 

* Besides their parents . . .
