Vacation Sunday

Breanne organized a fantastic Easter egg hunt for the kids at their rental house a few miles down the road in Manchester.

The kids were thrilled with their bags (rather than baskets), the huge hunt area and their “loot” (mostly fun rocks/gems and small toys).

We had lunch back at Pt Arena Pier and 

Isaac “King of the Rock”

Isaac talked his mom into letting everyone explore the nearby beach and stream.

Bonus: no one fell in the icy cold water!

We finished up with a tour of the lighthouse 

before hanging out the rest of the day at our house, while the kids played (they get along super well) and the grownups told family stories.

 Jac doesn’t like heights but decided she wanted to climb the lighthouse anyway. She made it halfway up before she got scared. Proud of her for trying!
