Aruba
Opened the curtains,
stepped out on the balcony
and got a face full of diesel fumes.
Pilot boat looks so tiny next to the tanker ship
Not exactly how I pictured our arrival in Aruba, but ships have to gas diesel up too, right? (Soooooo glad we aren’t responsible for *that* bill!! 😳)
Thankfully, it got better from there.
A little beer, little shopping . . .
Downtown Oranjestad, Aruba’s capital
For me, the most amazing thing about Aruba is all the shades of blue in the water.
So gorgeous.
After a hot, humid, windy sail-away party on the back deck
we’re once again at sea
heading for Ft. Lauderdale
and the end of our trip.
We miss the baby-grands, but neither of us is ready to go home yet. Guess we better make the most of these last 2 days!
