Tamale Day

Does doing something two years in a row make it a family tradition? 
I sure hope so; fresh made tamales are fabulous, and surprisingly easy to make - especially when your hostess does all the prep work before we even got to her house.
 
This year, Marie joined the masa-line, along with the men-folk (Bre's husband, dad and father-in-law), while I helped Bre stuff and roll. 
Chicken in chili verde sauce in one bag - cheese and chili in another. 
 
I know what I'm having for every dinner this week.
