Making Progress

The second project on my list is done. A feather & fan scarf, from a pattern I improvised, made with Blue Heron's 'Chocolate' Rayon Metallic yarn left over from another project. I really love this one - it's something I've wanted to make for a long time - and putting it on the fall class schedule finally motivated me to get 'er done.

I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.One of the best things about teaching (besides the deadline to get projects finished, which is something I've always needed) is the incentive to experiment with yarns, stitches and techniques. Keeps me out of a rut, crochet-wise.
