Graduation 2020

This has been a very weird year for education, with stay-home orders, distance learning and now drive-thru graduations.  

Shelley’s son, Thomas, graduated high school today, with honors.

The "ceremony" consisted of driving onto campus,

handing your name card to a blue-gloved staff member who handed your diploma back through the car window, then driving off campus for a parade through town. 

Thomas missed out on a bunch of traditional senior class moments -  

senior prom, grad night, band awards ceremony - 

but boy oh boy is he going to have a story to tell his grandkids.
