Travel Day
We left home at 0230 this morning - yuck - and arrived in Quebec, Canada in time for a fashionably late dinner.
Fall colors
The flight from LAX to Toronto was 2/3’s empty, so we had a whole row all to ourselves. That makes a 4+ hour flight soooo much more
Our hotel is a renovated mansion, built in 1826, and filled with antiques.
The downside?
Steep, narrow steps to the front door and no ‘lift’ to rooms on the
Three blocks from our hotel is a local restaurant row,
where we had our choice
Window seats at l’Omlette
of over a dozen intimate establishments.
Then a short stroll toward the city walls before returning to our home away from home.
Not sure what that pink-lit building is, but it’s pretty!
The plan for tomorrow is a tour of Quebec on the hop-on, hop-off bus. Can’t wait!
