Isafjordur, Iceland
We woke up today in Isafjordur, on the north coast of Iceland. The view from our berth wasn’t great… until you looked up at the snow and glaciers in the distance. So pretty.
Fortunately, he was better by dinner since we had reservations at Hasuki, the teppan restaurant where they cook on the grill in front of you.
All the chefs were also singers and put on quite a performance. So good!
We finished up the evening with a phone call to Jac (and Leo) - finally got the timing right with the 7 hour time difference -
and drinks and iPads in the Observation Lounge on Deck 17.
Seas are rocky, and the heavy drinkers have arrived, so it’s bedtime for us.
Tomorrow we have to be ready to disembark by 0630 for our shore excursion. Hope we can go back to sleep on the bus!
