Almost Time

Me: what would you like for Christmas?

Jac: hmmmmm. I would like a toy, a book, a blanket and a surprise. Please.

Unbeknownst to her, three of the four were already in the house. She has two quilts here and a couple more at her mom’s, so the blanket took me by surprise. 

Roxanne’s to the rescue! Found two bolt ends on sale in Jac’s favorite super soft minke fabric. A couple of seams, a de-shedding trip through the laundry and Jac’s list is complete. 

And so is my least favorite Christmas-time chore. Bah humbug. But now I can start filling it up again with yummy holiday goodies. It’s baking time!
