Winter Break

We celebrated the end of winter break* 

by taking the girls 

to Chuck E. Cheese on Thursday. 

Friday, we thought we were headed to Golf N Stuff

but the parking lot was packed and Jac is not good with waiting (and waiting) for her turn, sooooo ...

we headed to Ventura Harbor.

Hooray for a Plan B that makes everyone happy!

Pop got his favorite fish ‘n chips lunch; 

the girls played arcade games, rode the carousel, found some seals,

watched a small boat get loaded onto a big boat,

 Ella Fox for Jac and a new sweatshirt for Leanne 

got presents ,

and ice cream

and time by the fire pit. 

And what did I get? A visit to the pottery guild’s store and lots of pictures of happy grands. Win, win, win!

*discovered, once we were home, that the girls also have Monday off from school. So now we need something to top Friday’s adventure. Maybe Santa Barbara Zoo will doo??
