Leanne and Jackie are out of school for President’s week so we are trying different things each day to keep them entertained. 

Mom took them both to the dentist yesterday afternoon - neither girl was pleased - 

so that was one day done. 

Today we did chalk art on the driveway in the almost gale-force winds;

then indoor art with St Jude stickers, toothpicks and markers,

 Jac’s drawing 

plus Jac discovered her favorite bookmarker HAS A RULER ON THE BACK (such excitement), so she drew with that too. 

Jac also timed and rated my cooking of dinner (fortunately I passed).  

Did she eat any of the A+ food? Salmon with pecans and Panko crust (she liked crushing the pecans . . .) and broccoli with lemon aoli were both a giant “no”,  but she did have a few bites of (plain) Jasmine rice. And watermelon for dessert. 

But the hands-down hit of the day?

Hail. 

I got nothing to compete with that. 😂
