Travel Day

 Saturday was travel day.

We’re spending Jaclyn’s spring break with Rachel and family in Colorado while Leo is on her eighth grade trip to Washington DC. 

This was Jac’s second plane ride and her first in first class (only $100 more than Comfort - thank you Delta!)

Almost as soon as we were in the air and the wifi for her game cut out, she curled up and passed out… might have had something to do with our 0430 wake up call. 

So far the trip’s highlights are Jac, who is afraid very uncomfortable around dogs, 

becoming best buds with both Rambo (the short boy) and Rey (the tall girl). 

And hanging out with the very patient, good natured Cousin Addy. 

We almost always forget something when we pack… this time it was Jac’s coat and sweatshirt. First day here it was in the 80’s so it wasn’t a big deal but today it cooled off a lot.

Jac figured out how to deal until we could go shopping - favorite blanket as super hero cape. Smart girl.
