Six and a Basket

Sunday is the last day for donations to my quilt guild’s fabric sale, so today we packed the car with everything I’d cleaned out upstairs.*

There’s a few things I didn’t get to, but six moving boxes and a large woven basket were about all that would fit in the car anyway.

It’s amazing how much more room there is now. Once we’re back from CO I’ll organize the shelves and show off all the empty space. It won’t last - hubby’s already calculating how many boxes of Christmas decorations he can get in there. 😜

* Also got rid of 4 or 5 big trash bags full of mostly fabric scraps, plus all my EPP supplies are moving to CO to live with Rachel’s bestie. We planed to take an empty suitcase with us this trip so we could bring back the thick beautiful afghans Addy crocheted for us, but now it’s going to be packed on the outward journey with EPP and more yarn for Addy. Much better use of space. 😊
