Meh

Sometimes things work and sometimes it’s … meh.

Reyna and I are both into foundation paper piecing, so I talked her into suggested we do our own FPP block-of-the-month. We’d each pick something we wanted to make, rather than both making the same thing, and the 30 day deadline would add a touch of pressure spice. 

Reyna’s June block, 12x12” finished

Reyna finished her June project in plenty of time but between the Challenge, end of school activities for the grandgirls and c0vid brain (excuses, excuses), I didn’t get mine done until July 1.

Despite using 15(!!) different fabrics for this 7” flower block, it just looks . . . meh. 

Oh well, moving on to July. Maybe this one will look better when it has a few friends.
