On The Road Again

Up at 4 a.m. (the 'b**t crack of dawn' as one of Gary's friends so eloquently described it) and out the door at 5. Left Burbank at 8 for the 2 hour flight to Denver. Short layover, then on to Boston - flight was half empty so Dick and I had a row of seats to ourselves; room to stretch out on a plane is wonderful- landing at 7:45 pm Eastern time. Rent a car - the Logan Airport Enterprise location is awesome, so much better than National in Oakland - then take the l.o.n.g. drive across Mass to our first night's accommodations. All on 4 non-consecutive hours sleep.

Can't wait to see some real New England scenery tomorrow!
