Bah Humbug

The quail is done, mainly because I refuse to rip the head apart again. I’m happy with the feet and body and the head is adequate (it will look fine from a galloping horse, etc, etc…) but it’s still a bit too messy for me.

But sometimes ya gotta just stop - I redid every seam at least twice and had to reprint more than a few pieces because the paper wore out from repeat sewing. Wish the pattern had more ‘line up’ markings to show where things like the plume align with the head. It would make things sooooo much easier. Here’s hoping the hummingbird goes together more easily. I’ll find out in a week when we’re back from vacation. Hellooooo Glacier NP, looking forward to seeing you!
