Happy Fourth, Y’all

Lazy day for us. 

We celebrated America’s birthday by watering the flowers (Jac prefers to water the sidewalk . . .)

modeling new dresses, 

entertaining babies

and toddlers

until it was time to grab our traditional flag quilt

and watch the boom-booms from our front yard. 

Jac wasn’t afraid of the fireworks, especially with her ear protectors on, but she wasn’t a big fan either. Since I am a big fan, we worked a deal - she hid under the quilt and I told her all the colors she was missing. Win-win.
