Addy's Long Day

Addy and her parents had a long day. First they missed their flight from Denver to Burbank; United changed the gate assignment unexpectedly to a gate far, far away and although they ran, they still got left in the terminal. They managed to catch a flight into LAX . . . . but their luggage went to Burbank. Of course. It took us a couple of hours, but we finally got people and luggage into the car and headed out to visit great grandma & grandpa.

This was the first time Dick's parents had met Addy.
Addy loved sitting on Great-grandma's lap; she behaved beautifully, laughing, singing and entertaining us for over an hour. This is Addy's Elvis impression. She's a natural!

When we got home, Addy checked out the books we bought her earlier this week. The kid loves books.
And she met her cousin William, 2 1/2. He wasn't sure what to make of Addy at first, but they were soon playing and entertaining each other. Aren't they the cutest kids you've ever seen? Yeah, I know. That's what all us grandmas say. But it's true!
